Ivalo Lighting a subsidiary of Lutron Electronics commissioned the design of a series of light fixtures that provided a cutting edge aesthetic with the functionality of a wall sconce for interior and exterior use.  The  fixtures were constructed by molding two pieces of aerated Corian adhered together to form one seamless form.

The aeration is controlled to provide a specific luminosity for each fixture type and size depending on its specific use requirements.The design evenly illuminates a complex form which varies from each viewing angle, allowing for the shadows and surface to change giving it a dynamic appearance.
